Caroline Hutt CFRE

Hutt & Co founder and Managing Director, Caroline, has been involved in fundraising for more than 30 years. 

She started her career working with national charities including Scope and Marie Curie, fundraising mainly at grassroots level.  After twelve years in the UK, she was appointed campaign manager in South Africa with an international fundraising company that specialises in capital fundraising projects.  Upon her return to the UK she gained experience managing a range of projects before being promoted to director.

She started her own company in 2009 and was in the first tranche of fundraisers in the UK to secure the accredited CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) qualification.

Caroline is Chair of the AFC (Association of Fundraising Consultants).

Louise Norton 


Louise is an experienced marketing professional, having worked with clients across retail, financial institutions and charities in London based communications agencies. As Client Partner and Group Account Director, she built and managed large teams delivering excellent client service and driving revenues across her account groups. At Hutt & Co Louise works as a Campaign Manager driving fundraising programmes for our clients, she also is responsible for the marketing of Hutt & Co.

Louise is a member of a contemporary dance group as well as a trainee beekeeper.


David Wheeldon MA FRSA

An Associate Director at Hutt & Co, David has had a long and successful career in education, retiring in 2012 as headmaster of King Edward VI Five Ways, a co-educational state selective school, deemed ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.   

In this role, and in his previous position as head at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, he was actively involved with all aspects of fundraising and his appointment to Hutt & Co strengthens the company’s capabilities within the education sector.

Committed to the education sector, David is currently a governor at Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School and at Camp’s Hill Boys School.

Helen Hide-Wright


Our Finance and Operations Manager Helen, has a degree in Business Studies and a background in market research in both the US and UK.  She has worked with a variety of clients ranging from Government organisations to High Street banks and some of the country’s leading academic institutions.

She brings to Hutt & Co, a high level of organisation and operational expertise, as well as managing the company’s finances.

Helen is a great entertainer and loves cooking for her friends and family, she also enjoys spinning classes and has recently taken up diving.

Deborah Reader

Our Administrator Deborah graduated with a degree in History and worked in a variety of industries before joining Hutt & Co as part of the administration team. With her can-do attitude, Deborah is responsible for maintaining office files, managing the company database and keeping client case histories up to date. 

Out of the office she loves spending time exploring historical sites and walking her two beautiful Labradors.
