Stratford Girls’ Grammar School officially opened their new facilities in October 2015 when they paid tribute to the support of Hutt & Co in helping raise vital funds.
The state selective school urgently needed to raise significant funds during the 2013 autumn term to secure matched-funding from a government ‘pot’ then known as the ACMF (Academies Capital Maintenance Fund). The school had ambitious plans to build a new dining room, assembly hall, drama studio and sports hall.
Hutt & Co managed and directed the campaign, ‘Shottery – the growing family’ which raised £440,000 in time for the bid in January 2014. Thankfully the bid for £3 million was successful in a highly competitive bidding process.
Head, Kate Barnett, acknowledged the role Hutt & Co played and thanked the Campaign Board of parents for their contribution.
She said: “Firstly, Hutt & Co persuaded me that we really could do this, and then they were there with me and the rest of the team throughout the journey supporting, coaching and encouraging as well as putting in a great deal of behind-the-scenes effort to ensure our success.”
