King Edward VI Handsworth Girls’ School

King Edward VI Handsworth Girls’ School is an all girls state-selective grammar school in Birmingham. 

Headteacher Amy Whittall wanted to understand how fundraising could be used on a number of different levels in her school. Hutt & Co recommended undertaking a Feasibility Study to explore current activity, understand the school parental community’s reaction to fundraising and gauge its involvement with the school. The Study also assessed the level of engagement with the school’s alumnae and understand how best this could be developed. 

The outcome of the Feasibility Study has provided the Head and her Governing Body with a roadmap that will allow the school to develop strategies for both annual and capital fundraising when the time is right as well as making plans for alumnae development.
